Stylus Green3

I bought the green stylus to replace the broken stylus on an older FZ3 cartridge. Sounds great!

Bit of a story. My father’s acoustic research XB91 turntable had a Grado F-3+ headshell with a black stylus. Well a young lad(me) broke the stylus in circa 1982. Many years later in 2024 I acquired my father’s old turntable. Still had the Grado F-3+ cartridge with broken needle. I ordered a replacement green stylus. I delicately cleaned the old cartridge as it had set for several decades. I installed the new green stylus, put the needle the needle on the vinyl.wallah it was alive again. And a slight tear came upon.I have been playing many records for several weeks now.. The sound is great. Crisp, clean, transparent. Would buy again for sure. Thank you Grado for still being in business after all these years. I’ll purchase the black stylus next round. Cheers!

Installed the Stylus Green3 onto a vintage ZT+ Grado headshell. Did it mainly as an experiment, as I needed to replace the old needle.
Crisp, clean, and lively, it’s a performance that complements ZT+Grado perfectly. There is an abundance of detail and sonic clarity. Worthwhile experiment.

just installed the green stylus and i can hear a real improvement from the black! great company. i think my Dad, Bob, bought from you when you were based here in Westfield NJ. cool to keep the tradition going! best, Owen
